ABOUT ME
Eric J. Weis, Ph.D. (United States Army, Retired)

I have spent nearly 30 years in the leadership domain. I first cut my teeth in this field as a young Infantry officer, which exposed me to both the paradoxical beauty of the brother- and sisterhood-of-arms, as well as the chaos and confusion in my combat deployments leading and serving others in crucible environments. This combination of peace-time and combat experiences inspired me to explore a second career, pursuing an advanced degree in industrial/organizational psychology in order to become a much-needed translator, boundary-spanner, and educator between the real-world practitioner and professional academic. Now, as an organizational consultant, I strive to leverage my unique background to serve others by providing divergent leadership solutions for the many individual, collective, and organizational challenges we face in this complex 21st century environment.

Areas of expertise: Strategic Leadership; Executive Coaching; Change Management; Assessment, Selection, Training & Development; Adaptive Behaviors in High Risk Environments; Emotional Intelligence; Toxic Leadership; Strategy Development; Complex Problem Solving; Conflict Resolution; and Multi-cultural, International, Joint Complexities.
